30 Years is a long road for anyone to travel but life has seen
fit to see me through that journey and safely back in Cincinnati.
I'm a family man, married to a beautiful lady named Katie. I have
three daughters, Bobbi Lee, Leah and Alex. Leah will graduate high
school this spring. Alex plays soccer, rides horses, and is enjoying
her first year on a softball team.
I'm an Air Force veteran and a graduate of NMSU. My wife is a Miami
graduate. We live in the Eastgate area not far from old Anderson High,
but also own a small horse ranch a few miles to the east.
My wife and I both work at General Electric and in our spare time
tend our family, the dogs, cats and horses. We train and
board horses at our Clover Creek Ranch facility.
I still play guitar after some forty years, won't drive anything except a
pickup truck, still own and enjoy riding dirt bikes, and dabble in wood
working, caricature carving and writing.
I look forward to someday retiring in the Smokey Mountains. I think
often of all the wonderful young people I knew at Anderson High School
and wish each and every one of you the very best.

Since graduation, I've lived in Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, New York, and now New Jersey. I manage and redevelop large Shopping Malls, which is a trait I picked up after many years in the construction industry doing everything from office towers to nuclear plants, locks and dams. Etc. I live in the mountains / horse country part of New Jersey (believe it or not) with my wife Ann, who is from Finneytown (they were never the same after we beat them the last time in Football). We have two children, Andrew who is 16 and Claire who is 13 (going on 23 quickly). I have taken to fishing as a most relaxing recreational sport and will fish anywhere anytime… (Yes ice fishing too!) My family has all moved to other areas of the country, only the EPA building named after my dad on St Clair Street remains. We have Ann's family to visit while in Cincinnati and get back every other year or so.

For the last 30 years I've been working, volunteering and generally enjoying life. No spouse or kids in the picture. Have a 13-year-old toy poodle, Gidget, who is my little girl. She's diabetic and I give her two insulin injections each day to keep her diabetes under control.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from the University of Cincinnati. However, I've only used my degree to teach part-time. I am the Executive Assistant to the Chairman, President and CEO of Milacron, Inc. I have been with Milacron for the last 15 years and have been given increasing responsibilities as the years have passed. I enjoy my work, the challenges and the people at Milacron.
I have lived in Kentucky since 1990 when I bought my first condo in Wilder, Kentucky. I moved to Cold Spring, Kentucky in 2000. My mother is well and lives in Burlington, Kentucky. My sister, Judi, AHS '76, lives in Cold Spring, Kentucky down the road a few miles from my condo. All three of us are condo dwellers. My father passed away in 2000 after several years of being in a nursing home with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (www.psp.org). This disease is the same one that Dudley Moore, the actor, admitted to having before he passed away. A lot of people thought Dudley Moore was inebriated all the time when actually, during at least some of that time, it was PSP that was the culprit.
My current volunteering includes:
- Founder of the Beech Acres Alliance - a group of community volunteers who support the Beech Acres Mission through special events (ex: Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner, Porkopolis Golf Outing, etc.) and other activities
- Secretary for the Storehouse Ministry at Community Pentecostal Church, which includes keeping the financial records, minutes of meetings, records of those we have helped, helping those in need with food, clothing, and presents during the holiday season, as well as working at outreach events for the last 15 years
- A member of the Northern Kentucky Technical College Business Technology Advisory Committee for the last 3 years advising on curriculum content needs for business students
When not volunteering, working or doing things with my family, I like to go to antique fairs and shops trying to find unique items that interest me as well as poodle collectibles. I have a large quantity of poodle collectibles and am beginning a few new collections now. I also enjoy decorating and finding unique, not necessarily antique, pieces of furniture to use in my home.

Since Anderson,
I have lived most of the last 30 years in Milford, Ohio. I lived in Troy, MI from 1985 - 87, worked for GM and attended Macomb College. I now work in West Chester for AtriCure, a medical device company.
Now that I have 7 grandchildren, I will probably never make my move to a warmer climate. Did I say 7 grandchildren, let's backup. My son, Shiloh, and his wife Connie have 3 of the 7. Shiloh is head of their science dept. at Goshen High and is an academic advisor to PBS' Quest for Knowledge (he and his wife Connie have 3). My daughter, Katrina and husband David have 2. Katrina is an attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl. My son, Wes, and wife Charity have 2. Wes is in lawncare - my brown thumb is slowly fading. My youngest son, B.J. lives at home - loves to cook - this is good and this is bad!
FUTURE? Now that things are slowing down, I hope to spend more time with friends, golf more, take more golf vacations. And of course, as soon as the grandchildren are old enough for sports, I'll be right there on the sidelines.

I still live in Anderson Township and own a condominium where I serve as vice president of our homeowners association. As I travel, both work and pleasure, condominium living is perfect for my life style.
Though I've worked for Clopay Building Products for over 22 years, my career path has changed. I started with Clopay as a senior credit analyst. I was promoted to manager of sales administration. My mid-life crisis directed me to sales. I was an account manager covering three states and then promoted to mid-west regional manager. My current and favorite position is Business Development Manager for our retail brand, Holmes Garage Door, that we introduced about three years ago. I'm responsible for developing sales to the retail market on a national level. As travel is one of my passions, this position is perfect for me. Last year alone, I traveled to 32 states.
The benefit of working for the same company for many years is the luxury of having vacation time. I generally take 2 -3 long vacations a year and several extended weekend trips. This year's plan involves a Caribbean cruise, Nashville, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and ending the year in Key West, Florida. Key West is my favorite destination visiting that area at least once a year.
Another passion of mine is food and wine. I not only enjoy the adventure of new restaurants; I also love to cook. With food comes wine. I have taken several wine classes, enjoy wine tasting and wineries, and dream of being a wine sommelier.
I feel the past thirty years has been an adventure with the best yet to come!

Thirty years ago at graduation, I knew exactly what I wanted from life. I was going to be wife and a stay at home mom. In fact, I was going to be just like my mother. Well life doesn’t always happen the way we plan. I am not a mother. I have never been a wife and I will probably work until I am 80. So we go with what we are dealt. It took me a while to get here but what I have been dealt is pretty fine by me.
I still live and work in Anderson Township. I have worked for Rogers Family Dentistry for 27 years as a dental hygienist. I have been with the practice as we have grown from one doctor and one hygienist to a practice of four doctors and seven hygienists. . Rogers Family Dentistry is my family. Dr. Rogers is my uncle and the 3 other doctors are my cousins. We are family dentists in every since of the word! I have seen the same families through 3 generations. My patients are not only patients but friends too. I love that part of my job!
In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family. My nephew and nieces are the apples of my eye. I enjoy traveling and go away as much as I can. I will go anywhere, but prefer warm climates. (Is that because I am getting older?) I belong to an investment club in which I have served as an officer for the last 4 or 5 years. I must admit it was more fun when the market was better. However throughout this experience, I have learned a tremendous amount not only about the market, but the world in general.
Life is great and continues to get better!
Remember to FLOSS!

It's hard to believe it has been 30 years. I married Gene Imholt in 1977. We lived in Florida until 79 when I became pregnant. Having a baby changes your life so we decided to move back home to be close to family. Living on the beach for a year and a half was nice but now it was time to settle down. After waiting tables for 20 years I decided I was not cut out for that kind of work. I guess I am a slow learner. I went to UC part time while continuing to work full time and earned my BBA in 6 years. I currently work as a finance manager at P&G. Our beautiful daughter will be 25 next month. She and her husband will be having their second child in November. My Granddaughter is the greatest gift I have ever received. She is a witty 4 year old who loves to spend time with us. We lived in Anderson until just 2 years ago when we decided to sell our home to our daughter and her husband who had just completed his duty in the Navy stationed in Pearl Harbor. We are now enjoying life in the Eastgate area.

Right after high school I joined the Army. I went into communications with the 812th Signal Core. I was thankful for the experience, however it was not the life I was looking for! So I finished my obligation and returned home. That same year I married my wife (Becky). Life was good. Then we had our first child (Elethia). Some four years later we had our first son (Ted, Jr.). Then two years after that we had our second son (Adam). WOW! I never thought that I would ever get married, much less have a family. But as time went on, it all just seemed to fall into place.
I worked in the maintenance field and decided to go to a technical college after being out of school nearly 6 years. So, married with 3 children and a full-time job, I enrolled in Southern Ohio College in their Robotics Associates Degree course. I graduated Cum Laude a little over 2 years later! It was really tough, but I made it. I think the only reason why I didn't give up was because all of my buddies told me I wouldn't make it. That made me mad enough to do it!
Then a couple years later, my wife got her Associates Degree in the medical field from SOC. Education boosted our careers and made a difference in our lifestyle.
Through the years, we have shared many joys and sorrows. The children were a big challenge. We got them raised and our parents grew old and sick. This became a new challenge for us. There were many times throughout my life that I had to make hard decisions - ones that later on I wish that I could have changed. But life doesn't afford us that luxury. Instead, it keeps coming at you with more and more, pushing you closer to that slippery edge and you hang tight. Eventually the pendulum swings the other direction and all is well.
Well one thing is for sure, life is an adventure and sometimes you have some control. Anyway, we now have 4 grandchildren and are loving life! When life is good, you have to grab a hold of it and sieze the moment because it's kind of like the weather and changes quickly without notice.
We love outdoor activities, including motorcycle riding, camping, water skiing, and going on picnics at the park. We also love the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee and plan on moving there when we retire. I hope life has been good to you! Hope to see ya soon!

After high school, I spent two years at the University of Cincinnati, then moved to Birmingham, AL for a year. I got married, moved to New Mexico, then on to Sacramento, California, where I spent the next 20 years. I have 3 wonderful sons, ages 18, 14, and 9 (I was pregnant with little Eric at our 20 year reunion and didn't know it!)
While in Sacramento, I was hired first with the IRS, then moved over to the lesser dramatic Air Force. That job took me to San Antonio, then on to Wright Patterson for a couple years. This past September, I moved my family, minus the ex-husband, to Germany and will spend 3 to 5 years here working for the Air Force at Ramstein AB. So far, it's been a huge eye opener for me because of the concentrated support to the Iraq war. Being this close, we experience the real war events daily. Even though we must constantly be aware of our surroundings and try not to look too American in some places, we set out on our travel adventures without worry. And, of course, the travel opportunities are incredible. We take advantage of every chance to see the world and its people. Besides working for the Air Force for the last 19 years, I've also had my own freelance photography business for the same length of time so you can imagine the excitement I'm exeriencing taking pictures of places I only read about in books. (I really should have paid more attention in class!) I expect to come back with quite a collection of photos.
Once I return to the states, I plan to move to the Seattle area where my sister lives. I really got attached to the West Coast and now that I've made the complete circle around the U.S. and working on the world, I'm ready to go back...and maybe even settle down! I've placed some of my hundreds of pictures out on a photo sharing website. Enjoy seeing the world with us and I wish you all the very best of everything in life! - shawnabird.smugmug.com

After obtaining my Bachelor's degree, I taught Industrial Education at a Florida High School for 2 years before returning to graduate school at Miami University (Ohio). After receiving my Master's degree, I went to work for SOITA (Southwestern Ohio Instructional Television) to start their computer consortium for K-12 schools. I left SOITA after 7 years and went to work for Apple Computer for a few years as a Marketing Support Representative for Higher Education. Then I came back to Miami University (Ohio) to work as the Director of Computing for the College of Arts & Sciences. I am still here 14 years later!
I am happily married to my wife, Beth. Beth is really into gardening. I also have a step-daughter named Katy. Katy is really interested in horses and becoming a veterinarian. I have been interested in computers for many years and I do computer stuff for work AND for fun! I always thought if you can find something you would do just for fun and turn that into an occupation, you were in business! Hey, it worked for me! I am particularly interested in Macintosh computers and anything Macintosh, but I also work with Windows when necessary. My hobbies include windsurfing and I try to get out on Acton Lake at Hueston Woods State Park as much as I can. I am part of a radio show team that answers caller's computer questions on the air. The Helpdesk is aired Tuesday mornings at 9 am and replayed on Thursday evenings at 7 pm on WMUB radio 88.5 on the FM dial. The web page for the show and links to the streaming servers are at the following URL: www.wmub.org/helpdesk
Can't believe that 30 years has passed. Darn, I don't feel that old! Getting involved in this reunion has been a blast. I would encourage all of you to get involved in this and the future reunions!

Life has been interesting and never seems to be what was planned. I am currently divorced again. I have a 14-year-old son and have realized that as much as he wanted a stepfather, it is hard for someone else to accept your children. Ryan is a very brilliant child that suffers from Aspberger syndrome. For the most part he is a healthy, happy boy but he does have some problems with communication and social skills. I have three beautiful stepdaughters from a previous marriage. They may no longer be related to me legally, but they will always be my children. I just went to my eldest stepdaughter's wedding in New Jersey. It was incredible and of course I cried. I told these girls that I was 27 for many, many years when they were little..........now the oldest has almost caught up with me. Yes, they still send me "Happy 27" for my birthday every year.
I joined the Catholic Church 7 years ago. The classes were a wonderful experience and the people I met really helped me through some tough time. I am currently a member of St. Veronica Church but now that my son has graduated from St. Veronica we will be going to Immaculate Heart of Mary on Beechmont. Joining the Church was one of those life-changing decisions in my life.
I live in Mt. Carmel not too far from Newtown where I grew up. I did spend one brief year in Los Angeles in 1991, which made me decide never to leave home again. I have been in the same home for almost 14 years now. I have wonderful neighbors and they have become my family as well. I love giving parties and my neighbors and friends always look forward to my outrageous themes. Let just say, I don't intend to grow up.
I work at Ethicon-Endo Surgery as an Administrative Associate. I have been with this company for 13 years. I love me job and hope to stay here until I retire.
I didn't attend many extra-curricular activities in high school. I had that shy thing going on. Well, I have gotten over it. I have met so many wonderful friends in my life's journey and now I look forward to creating friendship with the alumni of my past.
If you had great friends and memories from High School, come and re-live them again. If you think you didn't make many memories, you might be surprised what you have forgotten or you may just need to take this opportunity to make up for it now. I hope to see a roomful of people.
And....for those of you that are not a couple (like me), don't be afraid to come out and join the fun. You don't have to be a couple to be you.!!!! You don't even need a partner to dance anymore. Isn't life wonderful!!!!

Married 20 years to Paula "A "Terwilliger" Kuhnen of Midway, Kentucky. I have 3 children, Jennifer, Matt and Paul. Matt is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in Iraq.
Since graduation, I attended Kent State University. Spent many, many, many years in media communications (radio and television broadcasting, sales, and management) and the past 17 years in the funeral profession as a Kentucky licensed funeral director. I have been working since 1994 as Vice President of Marketing for The Outlook Group Inc., Franklin, Ohio. The Outlook Group, Inc. is the country's largest independently owned and operated funeral prearrangement sales and marketing company with annual revenues in excess of $32 million.
I am a cat lover, with three cats at home and love to travel. I have thus far visited every state in the union with the exception of North Dakota and Oregon. I hope to get to those two within the next few years. I was very sorry to learn of the death of classmate Christopher Haines. Chris was a good friend through high school and I will miss him very much.
I have a question I need an answer to. Perhaps a '74 classmate can assist me. When we were all in the 9th grade together, I dated a girl by the name of Linda Moehlman. She used to live on my street (Anderson Hills Drive). The last I knew she attended the Great Oaks Vocational School and graduated from there in 1974 or 1975. I would sure love to know what happened to her and where she is. Anybody help me out?
Keep looking forward.

Thirty years. Wow. I've learned a lot in the past thirty years.….
After high school, I spent the next four years at Miami University, where I learned much about biology, but I learned I really didn't want to be a veterinarian.
So I returned to Cincinnati, began working for IBM, and learned about computer programming.
I moved to Chicago, IL where I learned how to live on my own and take care of myself. I learned how to play Space Invaders. I learned how to fall in love, and I married Ed.
We moved to Raleigh, NC where I learned how beautiful North Carolina beaches are. I learned how to ride horses, and that roosters begin crowing at 3:00 in the morning. But the best thing I learned was the joy of becoming a mom.
Next we moved to Germantown, MD where I learned that money and happiness have nothing to do with each other. I learned how to knit. I learned that teaching kids how to swim, ride a bike, make friends, and learn their ABCs were some of the best things that I could ever do in my life, and kissing a boo-boo really does make it feel better.
Next it was off to Aurora, IL where I learned how important family really is. I learned how to snow ski, and build igloos and huge snow bears with the kids. I re-learned that time spent with my husband, without the kids always around, is still a great time.
Then we moved to Dripping Springs, TX where I learned that "but it's a dry heat" is a bunch of hogwash, and although there's not much to see in a small town, what you hear sure makes up for it. I learned how to build a tree fort. I learned that ranching is a blast and a great environment for raising children, but it is a lot of work and definitely not for the squeamish. I learned that cashmere and mohair come from goats. I learned that kids grow up fast and leave home long before we could ever be ready.
Now we are in Wisconsin - Lake Koshkonong. We have only been here for a month now, but I already learned that it is great to be back near family. I've been learning for over twenty years now how to stay happily married. I am also trying to learn how to fish, so if anyone has any secrets on how to catch Walleye on inland Wisconsin waterways, please let me know.
One more thing that I learned along the way is that happiness is not having what you want; it is wanting what you have.
John Wilson
Strange in the morning I'm looking for info about our reunion and that afternoon there is a meesage on my cell about the reunion.
Just for the record - yes I was the John Kenneth Wilson III that graduated in 74- how many 3rds can there be out there?
My wife(Leslie) and I moved back to Columbus after spending 9 years in Texas this past fall.
I am pursuing fulltime teaching positions and working as a sub for several districts up here. Leslie is a computer programmer. Our 3 kids all graduated high school in Texas. Regan is a Srgt. in the Air Force and after spending the last year in she just started a 3 year tour in Hawaii. Guess where we go for vacations. Kelly is a senior at OSU and Ryan just moved back to Ohio to be with family.
PS- speaking of how things change- back when we were in high school was Nixon's trip to China- first since WWII- in March my daughter Regan spent part of her vacation in China visiting the Great Wall. I never thought my kid would end up there.
Heather Halloran
After graduation I moved around a lot working with horses on the Race Track with Dara Peppers and Beth Lagaman eventually ending up out West looking for Ranch work and then becoming involved with Native American struggles and environmental activisism. Most of the ranchers didn't hire girls back in those days and the Indians didn't want white people helping them, so being humbled and with great humility and disapointment (but no regrets) ... I came back to Ohio-Land.
I found an old farm house in Batavia and with some help from my mother, grandfather, brothers and sisters - 45 gallons of paint, and lots of plumbing supplies ... I'm still here. I have three children and have twice been divorced. My kids have made better choices than their mother and that keeps me centered enough not to be the impulsive dream chaser and idealist as I was before they came along. I took up running some twenty years ago and ran my first marathon when I turned 40. I found that after all those years of running away from Wild Bill Harris down the halls of Anderson High I could still run! I organized Native American running events here in the tri-state for five years and made many lasting friendships from some wonderful Indian people coming in from reservations around the country. I am not married but have been with a Navajo man for 6 years now. My daughter Nicole is 26 and just married this year in May. My son Nick is 22, and is a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps currently stationed in North Carolina is preparing for deployment to Iraq in September rotation. My son Cody is 15 and going to high school at Batavia.
I feel my life in a good and quiet place now.. I have had many adventures, lived under and open free sky, been poor as a praire dog (and still am) but for me anything more than what I have now wouldn't be who I am. Like all mothers, I am as in love with my children now as I was the day they were born. Through them I have everything I need. Well ... um except for maybe a horse. I would like to have horses again but for now I'll just keep looking at my the saddles that live in the corner of my living room. Peace Out and Jimi Hendrix forever.
Tom Jensen
After high school, I graduated from Villanova University in 1978 and began a long journey that took me to New Hampshire, briefly back to Cincinnati and then back to suburban Philadelphia, where I had gone to college.
In 1982, I met my future wife at a Clash concert, and three years later, Ginger and I married.
In 1988, we moved to Phoenix, where I began a 13-year stint with a newspaper chain, where I worked as a reporter and editor. That job would lead to transfers to San Jose in 1992, Honolulu in 1994, and Charlotte, N.C. in 1996.
After nearly 13 years of marriage, Ginger and I had our first child, a beautiful daughter namerd Leanna, in January 1998. In October 2000, our son, John, was born. If you don't believe in miracles, try becoming a first-time dad at 40!
In 2001, we went back to San Jose to help a friend start his business, and in April 2003, we moved back to the Charlotte area, this time for good.
Professionally, I've spent most of the last eight years in motorsports journalism, mostly writing about NASCAR racing. I am now the managing editor of National Speed Sport News, the oldest weekly motorsports publication in the country. I have written 2 1/2 books (two complete books, one about to be published in an updated second edition) and been a contributor on a couple of others.
Our family and my job are my two passions, but I still find a little time to play blues and rock and roll guitar, though not much better than I did in high school! Over the years, we've also restored a few old 1960s cruisers and next year's project is to find another one and fix it up.
Ginger and I will be married 20 years next May and on balance, I've had a much better life than I ever expected or probably deserved. Our kids are real treasures and I'm lucky that I get to work in a job I enjoy. We perilously close to old fartdom and live a mostly quiet life in the burbs, but it's a good quiet.
Elizabeth Taylor (with Bonnie Schroeder Heflin)
After leaving high school, I joined the Army Medical Corp and put in 4 years active. I visited many locations, mainly Texas and Oklahoma. Went back to school in Oklahoma to get my BS degree in Radiological Sciences from the University of Oklahoma and Tulsa for Spartan School of Aeronautics. I also stayed in the Reserves while in school. I ventured back to Cincinnati for one very humid summer and decided to head west. I stayed at Lake Tahoe, California for one very cold winter and again decided to move to a medium temperature. I found it in Sacramento, California and I'm still here. Met my husband, Bob, about 3 years ago and he is also in the aeronautical field and a pilot. I did retire from the Reserves with 21 years and both Bob and I are retiring from our regular jobs in 2 years.
We bought a plane and live at the main airport in Sacramento and keep the plane (our baby) in a hanger behind the house. Both of us are planning a small business in flying, flight instruction, and already have been certified to scatter ashes from the plane.
Life has been good, and I recently met up with Bonnie Schroeder Heflin in Orlando. She is doing great and a happy Grandmother! Best wishes to all, hello to the Babis family, and wish I knew where Isabella Yao went. Last I heard she was in NYC working at the Canadian Consulate.

I have been involved with Silicon Valley technology companies since the early 80's. After going to Kent State for four years and finishing my double major in English and Psychology at San Francisco State, I went back to school for a technical degree. I became a Manufacturing Engineer for a computer company in '83 and am currently the Manufacturing Engineer and Operations director for a technology company. I have been married since '79 to a woman I met at Kent State and have no children.
